A small introduction about myself....
My name is Pavlos Santamas. I was born in Cyprus in 1962. I graduated from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles with a degree in Architecture in 1987. From then on, I have had a very successful career in our family firm. Architecture provided me with an extremely comfortable life, with plenty of travel and many world-wide vacations. All this till 2010 when...BOOM... the economic crisis hits Europe. Overnight, architects and home-building are not a priority or are on anyone's 'thing-to-do' list. The firm still had to pay wages, bills and other monthly running expenses. Life still went on. Rent, alimony, and all those other monthly expenses still had to get paid. Yet income was zero! I was not an unemployment statistic (yet), however I was a 'no work' reality. If I wanted something to change, I would need a drastic change in my life, ASAP!
17 OCTOBER 2012 - A few days earlier a friend called me up and said, "are you open to a different business proposal?" The answer was a definite yes. So we set up a meeting to attend a 'travel party', where I would be shown this idea. When we arrived at the meeting place what struck me most were the happy faces, the smiles and the very positive energy, (as opposed to the gloom I deal with daily in the construction world). My first thought, was that I was in the wrong place and was actually party crashing. It was the right place!!
The presentation started with a short film, 'Things to do while you're still alive', and I was mentally transported to all these great exotic places we only dream of going. Following that a member was introduced and began a power-point presentation..."our company is called World Ventures, and our slogan is Make a Living..Living". Go on dream vacations for less AND get paid!! This was getting even more exciting as the presentation progressed. The idea was so simple. A product everyone wants, at prices everyone needs, AND you can make money!! This was so neat and sooo different to what I was used to doing every day. I was already picturing myself, scuba diving somewhere exotic half way round the world, or enjoying a Caribbean or Alaskan cruise. It was as if this fantastic company was tailor made for me! When the presentation was over, I just said, "this is what I want to do!".
The cost for the DreamTripsLife membership was a 'paid only once', $199.99 fee plus a $49.98 monthly fee to sustain the membership.
The cost of becoming a Representative was a 'paid only once', $99.99 fee plus a $10.99 monthly fee.
A grand total of just $360.95. What a mind blowing amount!
But there was more to it. If you refer 4 people you automatically waive your monthly fees...for ever!! My own business with zero running costs. How cool is that?
My decision to sign up, came pretty easily actually. I had this Jim Rohn quote reverberating in my brain, "Indecision is the thief of opportunity". This was my opportunity and I was not going to let it slip by. I made my $361 decision right there and then and joined World Ventures. The amount needed to join was so small compared to the monthly cost of sustaining my architecture firm, that this was definitely not the issue. I had absolutely nothing to lose. This was 'risk-factor, zero', and I would be doing this new business, part-time.
I will remember the day I joined World Ventures like I remember my Birthday. Almost 5 months later, the excitement and knowledge about this fantastic company is still growing. It has been truly life changing. It was in all honesty one of the wisest decisions I have ever made...
